Mount Damavand is a 5671 m high mountain in the north of Iran. Also known as Donbavand, it is a dormant volcano and holds a special place in Persian mythology and folklore, this mountain is the highest peak in Iran and the largest volcanic mountain in Asia.
We will Meet you at Imam Khomeini Airport and we get transferred to our accommodation. Overnight: Accommodation in hotel in Tehran
We Get a ride from Tehran to Rineh (around 119km) Overnight: Mountaineering Federation Camp Meals: Breakfast, lunch, Dinner
From Rineh, we will a 4WD ride to Damavand Base Camp, Gusfandsara (3000m). From Gusfandsara, we will trek up to Bargah-e Sevom Shelter (4200m) in about 4-5 hours. Overnight: Our Exclusive Camp Meals: Breakfast, lunch, Dinner
To acclimatize yourself to the height, we an ascent to the altitude of almost 4600m. Having had an optimal acclimatization, we climb down to spend the night in our camp. Overnight: Our Exclusive Camp Meals: Breakfast, lunch, Dinner
Early in the morning, we will trek up to the summit (5610m) in 5-7 hours. Having conquered the giant, descend to the exclusive camp (4200m). Overnight: Our Exclusive Camp Meals: Breakfast, lunch, Dinner
We Take a trek (about 2 hours) down to Gusfandsara (3200m). From there, get a ride on a 4WD to Rineh. Have a relieving and relaxing experience at a hot spring. Then we get a ride back to Tehran. Overnight: Accommodation in hotel in Tehran Meals: Breakfast, lunch
End our adventure with a transfer to the airport. If there’s enough time, discover the top cultural highlights of the capital until noon.
